MTC4BT Esp32 and rocrail

I’ve got a MTC4BT on a esp32. It connects to a Lego Train hub. Should I get a MattzoControlerID for the MTC4BT?? Because I am not getting it.

My actual question is, how do I use it with Rocrail, I can’t seem to find it on the website.

MattzoTrainController for Bluetooth (MTC4BT)

MTC4BT does not require a MattzoController Id, as it holds the connections to its controlled devices via Bluetooth directly.

Check….there I was looking how to get the ID…

Oh I use Mqtt Explorer on windows to see all mqtt messages to the mqtt broker, pretty nice!

Then I still seem to miss the section to connect/add the train in rocrail.

I read that part a few times, I must miss the part where the rocrail connection is show. I’ll give it a go tommorow and I’ll let you know!

Oh and for all, the mqtt Explorer is a real handy tool for all that use mqtt!!!

I also use IoT mqtt panel on my phone. It allows you to send mqtt messages to that same broker, allowing you to (quick) test (different parts of) your setup.
