The layouts on this page use narrow gauge tracks from TrixBrix.

All track layouts were created with Bluebrick and the TrixBrix track library for Bluebrick.

Narrow Gauge Radii

From outside to inside: R96, R84, R72; R48, R36, R24. The standard distance in the narrow gauge system between the tracks is 12 studs from middle to middle, and 6 studs between the sleepers.

Narrow Gauge R84 double branch

This double branch uses Curves with R84 on the outside und R72 on the inside. Switches are R84, the crossing is a 22,5° R84 crossing.

Narrow Gauge R84 Ballast Curves

This plan shows the correct usage of R84 ballast curves. These tracks are strongly asymmetric, so the correct application is important.

Narrow Gauge R84 Track Change

With this combination of R84 switches and the R84 crossing, independent track switches are possible. The sketch also shows the application of R84 switches for changing tracks between parallel narrow gauge tracks.
