I would like to thank you for being included in this forum.
My idea was to offer my boys (10, 12 years old) the opportunity to automate their LEGO train.
I don’t have an electrical engineering background myself, but I’m willing to learn here too.

We would like to build the MLC mini, but we can’t find the ESP8266 linked in the tutorial.

I mistakenly ordered the ESP8266MOD 12-F mini and it only has one row of pins.

Would anyone be able to help me use the wrongly ordered controllers or perhaps a supplier for the right ones?

      Many thanks for your support.
      Jochen

Hi Jochen, welcome to Mattzobricks. It is true that the Amazon link on the material page leads to an article that is presently not available, but the Ali link works fine.

      Bill of material

      Section “MLC mini”.

      Good morning Matthias,
Thank you for the tip. I’m not a fan of Ali but I ordered for my boys anyway. I was hoping that I could get something from a German supplier.

Do you have any idea what I could do with the ESP8266 mini controllers?

      Regards
      Jochen

      Options:
      – Any variants of the MLC, e.g. for bridges, level crossings or measuring speed. Of course also for anything else, just without the MLC mini case.
      – Use it to build an MTC4PF.
