Failed to connect to mqtt, state=-2

I am going slightly mad here, trying to get the great Mattzo stuf to work.
My layoutcontroller on an esp8266 will not connect to mqtt.

My MTC4PU on a esp32 does connect to the mqtt broker. They have the same network config file.
RocRail gives broken socket messages.
Anyone able to help this noob? 😉

Solved! had to set 1883 port in firewall settings. Also had to go back to mosquitto version 1.6.9 to make MQTT work for Rocrail.
