      Hello everyone,

For the german distant signal a few parts should me print by a 3D printer.
Doens anyone has an idea what scale and the length, width and height (in cm) are of the parts:
upper spectacle holder, lower spectacle holder and blade. All these 3 parts are designed in separate .stl files.

      Best regards,

      R. v/d Meulen

For whatever reason, I had to scale the parts with a factor of 2,56. I am not sure if this is because of the stl files, or my cura settings… but then it just worked out fine.

      Some hints:
      1. The blade should be 40mm long (5 studs).
      2. The distance between the holes of the spectacle holders must be precisely 8mm from middle to middle (1 stud).

Let me know how it turned out.

If I scale the parts with a factor 0.256 i got the following numbers in cm:

      length width height
      Blade 4,0 0,8 0,7
      Upper spectacle holder 3,5 2,1 0,6
      Lower spectacle holder 2,2 2,1 0,6

That looks quite good. You should give it a try and hit “print”. 🙂

I will definitely give it a try. I was wondering which 3D print method is the best to use and which % filament is the best to choose from between 20% and 100%.

      20% worked for me.
