ICE

The ICE train, also known as LEGO set no. 60051 “high-speed passenger train”, is a classic LEGO passenger train.

Obviously, the role model for this train was the German Intercity Express “ICE 3”.

My customization of the train includes the following features:

• The train has two locomotives and 3 unpowered cars.
• All cars are 4 studs longer than the original.
• The front and rear loco has bidirectional white and red lights. The lights switch automatically depending on the direction of movement. They can also be switched manually.
• The onboard controller is an SBrick.
• The SBrick is controlled with a MTC4BT via Bluetooth.
