    Hello,
I have experimeted with my switch-controllers cable(replacing some of them to see if they are broken, because I had this issue with these cable in one of my previous Mattzo-controller builds), but they weren’t the problem either. I have tried every single motor in my order(14 in total), but none of them worked on the controller(so it is very unlikely that they are the problem). By now I just don’t know a other reason why it doesn’t work for me, but it did for eg.Paul, so I made this video in unlisted mode to show my setup in particular. I hope someone can help me fix this, because it is the only thing that is left in my setup of all Mattzocontrollers, which all work perfectly by now.

I have used the potentiometer code and just threw out the potentiometer code so it should work, but it didn’t. Just for confirmation: Orange is in a D0-7 Pin, red is in plus and black is in minus, right?

I’ve now extraxted the servo out of the casing and will check it’s functionality

    hello,
I have a similar problem as Paul(Serial says everyrthing goes through to the controller, but the led does nothing and the servos don’t either), but switching the controller didn’t work for me. I also tried switching the plus and minus cables of the motors on my breadboard. My question: Is there a simple way to get my hands on a test-sketch for the switch motors(to see if they are the problem), or would I have to write that code myself?

    Hi Uli,
I’m simply gonna go over your checklist:
-I do not have switches connected at the moment, because TrixBrix doesn’t have them in stock, but they aren’t needed as only 2 of the three blocks are enabled
-yes I have got sensors installed before and after every block on my test layout
-I’ve got 3 blocks in total right now and a single test train
-The only thing I’ve done is switch on automatic and used drag and drop for selection of blocks
-All of my sensors are configured as enter and in for each direction for all blocks
-I have started automatic mode and started the train via the rightclick-menu after the block selection

    Here I am again 😐
I have got the train all up and running properly, at least in manual mode. That means I am able to start and stop the train via the buttons in rocrail, but as soon as I start the automatic mode, I think there’s something fishy, because it doesn’t even reserve blocks in yellow for the trains I drag in. Needless to say that although the log says block 3 is the destination, the train stays in wait mode forever, flickers for a split-second in auto mode and then stays in wait again.
Is there something, that is essential for suto mode to work, or should I simply try reinstalling Rocrail?

Nur noch mal zur Sicherheit, die beiden INNEREN sind die richtigen, korrekt? Denn mein Motor läuft nicht, obwohl ich am Controller sehe, dass er die Nachrichten aus Rocrail empfängt…

I have tried some different things, like searching for spelling mistakes I made or misplacement of the tinyxml2.h Document, but I just can’t seem to find the problem. Is there something required between “XMLDocument” and “xmlDocument” in the MTC4PF Document in line 251, where the message pops up? I have got the tinyxml2.h Document inside the tinyxml2-master folder inside the libraries folder, so everything is placed correctly and I don’t get why it does not work for me…

You were right, I did have got the #s still on the tinyxml2, but it still tells me that theres the same problem in “XMLDocument xmlDocument;” because it says it has not been declared, although I do have erything in playce as listed in the general description…

I’ve got a similar question as Henk, because my IDE tells me in the MTC4PF-Code that XML_Document, XML_Success etc. “are not declared in this scope”. Where are these located or are they also in a seperate library which has to be downloaded

I have now left out the resistors and finished up the wiring of the controller. Is it possible to power the Controller normally (by cable), so it is possible to programm it and get the Infos or do I have to disconnect everything before programming?

I have decided to use multiple resistors and put them in a row I guess that works fine

And here I am again haha. The Sensors and switches work properly now and I was trying to start building my first train-Conrtoller to test the 2 Controllers I already built in Automatic-Mode, but I can’t seem to find 5k Ohm Resistors, as they can be seen in the sketch, anywhere on the web. The Question I had was if it is possible to switch out the 5k Ohm and the 20k Ohm Resitors to 4.7k Ohm and 22k Ohm Resistors, as I already have them here, before I fry my board.

    Hello Forum,
I kind of feel bad for asking by now but my Controller seems to put out weird and kryptic stuff when I restart it. This appears in my serial: 2dO,4`lME⸮i⸮H|⸮֊⸮⸮⸮⸮̥⸮⸮⸮1⸮⸮⸮ԄV8⸮LJ. Does this have a common reason like a wrong or forgotten variable or can this not be diagnosed from the far?
