    Hello Lukas,
yes you‘re absolutely right. Never use a LED with 1.5V Flowvoltage on 3.3V without a limiting resistor! That‘s common Electronic Knowledge. But, what made it still function? Some luck , of course, and something like a Data transmitting based Puls width Modulation. The ir led works only while transmitting Data. This pulsing caused by an specific Frequency lowers the total Voltage to a not damaging Value.
Not that terrible, it works! 😉

In addition a Technic Hint: Use your smartphone camera to make IR Spectrum visible. Check for e.g. the IR Led of your TV’s remote control. Look through the Cameradisplay on this while pushing any button. You will see the flickering! Use this for checking the function of your IR Led build in the controller!

Hi Everybody in the Chat. Thanks for joining us and reporting your issues. By now we have a Bug in PU, disconnecting the Hub in weird moments. If that happens the controller (ESP32) won`t reconnect and Failsafe activates! We are searching for the reasons and have found some interesting Points to fix this. Please stay tuned. We report immediately and send a new firmware when ready!
    Regards

    Hi Uli,
please check with the Serial Monitor if the commands of rocrail are right implemented of the Controller. I mean, is 100% forward in rocrail the same in the Controller. If it is, please Check the wiring of the Motor shield. Do you use the two or three Pin variant? Is the Setting right? Please Report!

    Hi Sophie,
No, you don‘t need something like a Command Station. Follow the Instruction in the general section here on the website. The Control is a Virtual Server in Rocrail. Important is the Setting of the mqtt server like described. That‘s it! If you have more Problems, please Report.

    Hi Piet,
check MattzoController_Library. May be you didn’t load tinyxml in your library. It#s mostly the reason for some problems. If not, please check all libraries have ther needed Parts. Check the general discription and the libraries for further informations!

    Hi Paul,
first check the Hardware. Is everything wired up in the right way? Are the servos supplied with 5 V?
Connect the controller to the Serial Monitor of the Arduino IDE.When you switch in Rocrail do you see something in the monitor?
If not, check the settings in Rocrail. In Rocrail you can test the switches on many different ways, may be read the manual for this task.
Please refer to the forum if you make some progress!

Hi Tobias, please copy your settings from the MTC4PU_Configuration into this post. Maybe we find quickly the answer for your problem.
    Best regards, Thorsten

Hi Henk, in the Moment we are focused on the Wifi Solution. It’s universal and more convenient by now. Data and Powertransmission over the rails is quite interesting, but it needs new thoughts about the infrastructure. Maybe, sometimes we complete our Ecosystem of Controllers with native 9V Trainsystem Parts. We will report!

Hi Henk, you find everything you need in the general description or in the configuration and libraries Files for the different Controllers! But i think its point we should document more obvious! Thanks for writing your progress!

Hi Piet, you are right. This you can’t find in for example the E12 Resistor Specs. When you want to work with this resistance you have to chose Trimpotis. But you can also chose a Resistor A and Resistor B has a ratio four times higher. The ratio is important not the absolute value. Beware, the precise Voltage devider you build up with this Resistors is very complicated. We throw out this feature until we find a solution more need for us!

Hi Hakan, in the Moment there is no available Case. The release of the Casings will come soon. When your space fits exactly with the PF or PU Casings from lego, you will have no problems with our Casing!

Hi Piet, may it be your serial monitor has a transfer rate of 9600 baud? Set it to 115200 Baud. This may work for you!
